Zenith
Chronomaster Sport
Why It Matters
The contemporary El Primero flagship, styled after the tri-colour counters of Zenith's 1969 chronographs. Introduced in 2021, reference 03.3100.3600/69.M3100 has a 41mm steel case with pump pushers and a matte white dial whose three overlapping counters are silver, anthracite and blue. It runs the automatic El Primero caliber 3600 at 5 hertz, a chronograph that reads to a tenth of a second as its central hand sweeps once every ten seconds, with about sixty hours of reserve. A black polished-ceramic bezel carries the tenth-of-a-second scale, on a steel three-link bracelet rated to 100m.
