Big Crown Submariner, 1958
Why It Matters
Tudor's first Submariner waterproof to 200 metres, with the oversized crown that gives it the 'Big Crown' name. The ref. 7924 paired an oversized 8mm screw-down crown with Tudor's automatic caliber 390, developed with input from the French Marine Nationale. It followed the earlier Tudor Submariners, the refs. 7922 and 7923.
