Resident Evil
Resident Evil (PlayStation)
Capcom, 1996
Why It Matters
Resident Evil began Capcom's survival-horror series on the PlayStation in 1996. Early North American copies were sold in a ridged longbox.
The photograph shows the sealed first-production longbox copy from The Dreamer Collection, graded Wata 9.6 A+, that sold at Heritage in October 2021. Its grade and sale history belong to that copy.
