Patek Philippe World Time ref. 2523, yellow gold, two-crown, watch front

Patek Philippe

World Time

Why It Matters

Patek Philippe's World Time watches combine a city scale with a 24-hour indication, allowing several time zones to be read from one dial. The ref. 1415, introduced in 1939, used an outer city bezel; later references developed different ways to arrange and adjust the display. This is a family of watches rather than one fixed reference. Case form, movement and dial treatment need to be identified for each example.
