Omega Speedmaster 'Ed White' Steel, stepped matte-black dial
Omega, 1963–1969
Why It Matters
The last of the symmetric, straight-lug 'pre-Professional' Speedmasters, and the reference Ed White wore during the first American spacewalk on Gemini 4 in 1965. Powered by the caliber 321, the 105.003 kept the original case shape without crown guards. Omega qualified the Speedmaster for NASA spaceflight in March 1965.
