Breitling

Navitimer

Why It Matters

The pilot's chronograph that put a circular slide rule on the wrist. Developed for aviators and adopted by the AOPA, the Navitimer 806 defined Breitling for a generation, its logbook bezel computing fuel, speed, and distance in flight. Early examples run from AOPA-signed dials to the later twin-jet logo.
