Tom Heinsohn was selected 6th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 1956 NBA Draft out of Holy Cross. He was named NBA Rookie of the Year in 1957. He received 6 NBA All-Star selections. He won NBA championships in 1957, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964 and 1965. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1986.
