Ja Morant, the second pick of the 2019 draft out of Murray State, won Rookie of the Year in 2020 and became the face of the Memphis Grizzlies. His above-the-rim play at six-foot-three made him one of the most watched guards of his era, earning Most Improved Player in 2022 and an All-NBA Second Team selection. Injuries limited his later Memphis seasons, and he was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers in June 2026.
