Cooper Flagg was the first pick of the 2025 draft after a national-player-of-the-year season at Duke. With Dallas he started all seventy of his rookie appearances and was named 2025-26 Rookie of the Year, the second-youngest winner in league history. He joined Michael Jordan as the only rookies since steals were first recorded in 1973-74 to lead their team in points, rebounds, assists, and steals.
