Bryce Harper arrived in the majors in 2012 as one of the most anticipated prospects in baseball history, winning the National League Rookie of the Year with the Washington Nationals. He won NL MVP awards in 2015 and 2021, the second after moving to the Philadelphia Phillies on a thirteen-year contract signed in 2019. Originally an outfielder, he has played first base for Philadelphia in recent seasons.
