Blake Griffin was the consensus national college player of the year at Oklahoma and the first overall pick of the Los Angeles Clippers in 2009. A broken kneecap cost him the 2009-10 season; the following season he was an All-Star, won the Slam Dunk Contest and was named Rookie of the Year. He was a six-time All-Star and five-time All-NBA selection before retiring in 2023.
