Henry Pym first appears as a scientist with a shrinking formula in Tales to Astonish #27 (1962). Stan Lee supplied the plot, Larry Lieber the script, Jack Kirby the pencils and Dick Ayers the inks. The costumed Ant-Man follows in #35.
